Bryan and Sarah Baeumler appeared to be the resort’s owners as of September 2022, and they had not yet sold the Bahamas property.
They continue to live a nomadic existence while running the business. Despite temporarily closing the opulent resort during the outbreak, the couple is still pursuing their ambitions of managing it and traveling on the “tour of a lifetime.”
Later in the show, Bryan and Sarah revealed that they had been approached with an offer to buy their resort. We couldn’t help but wonder if Bryan and Sarah were still the owners of Caerula Mar Club Resort or if they had sold it because Bryan and Sarah were getting set to meet the mystery investor interested in the property.
Despite their efforts to settle down in their new Florida home, the couple couldn’t help but feel at home at their resort whenever they visited. Sarah stated that she had not yet completed her island life and adventures.
The pressures of maintaining the Bahamas resort, their Florida home, and an ambitious new project had overwhelmed them. On a recent episode of the HGTV show, Bryan and Sarah discussed various difficult issues, including whether they should sell the resort, bring on a new partner, or even return to the Bahamas, where they considered their home.
The Baeumlers have been talking about selling their home. But for the time being, they remain the proprietors, and the resort is finally open to the public.
Bryan and Sarah Baeumler opened Caerula Mar Club to the public in March 2020, after months of hard work and spent their whole savings on the project. The couple was forced to temporarily close their opulent resort until October 2020.
The Baeumlers invested $10 million in the island’s refurbishment, which they utilized to transform the island’s run-down Emerald Palms resort into the luxury Caerula Mar Club.
Who Are The Baeumlers?
The Bauemlers are well-known for their HGTV show Renovation Island, which follows the married couple as they rebuild an abandoned house.
Bryan and Sarah didn’t start dating for another ten years after meeting in high school. Throughout their college and graduate years, they stayed in touch. Bryan and Sarah rekindled their communication after a buddy forwarded them in an email in 2001. They arranged to meet for coffee and immediately hit it off.
Bryan chose a classic supper and a movie for their first date. According to Sarah, Bryan “pulled out all the stops” for the private evening. In 2001, he took Sarah to see The Lion King at the theater before bringing her to a sushi restaurant.
Bryan and Sarah married on September 3, 2004 at Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. Bryan and Sarah have four children: Quintyn, Charlotte, Lincoln, and Josephine. Quintyn, 15, is currently enrolled in a boarding school. The three younger children attend a Bahamian school nearby.
Bryan’s first job was operating an air cargo company, but he quickly transitioned to hosting home repair shows to display his skills as a contractor. Bryan and Sarah were well-known to fans before to Renovation Island because they both appeared in a number of TV shows in 2007.
In 2010, Baweumler obtained a second contract with HGTV to film his family’s daily activities for the reality show House of Bryan. Bryan, Sarah, and their four children took part in the show, which showed the construction of the Baeumlers’ three houses: Bryan’s dream house, his rural cottage, and his “forever home.”

Net Worth of Sarah and Brian Baeumler
Sarah and Brian Baeumler have a combined net worth of approximately $20 million, according to Distractify.
According to a Forbes piece from the previous year, the couple planned to spend $4 million cleaning up the oceanfront property on Andros Island in the Bahamas, but instead spent around $2 million on a defunct resort in 2017.
Instead, at the time of the Forbes article, they had spent more than $10 million on renovations. Bryan founded a handyman business when he was 14 years old, after growing up learning “tricks of the trade” from his father, an aircraft engineer.
Bryan had planned to become a lawyer after graduation, but he immediately changed his mind and founded the construction firm Baeumler Quality Construction. Among other things, the corporation founded Baeumler Approved, Baeumler Productions, and Baeumler Media.
He has gone on to become a television celebrity, appearing on HGTV and HGTV Canada. Disaster DIY, which aired from 2007 to 2011, House of Bryan, which aired from 2010 to 2015, Leave It to Bryan, which aired from 2012 to 2017, Bryan Inc., which debuted in Canada in 2016 and was known as Renovation, Inc. in the United States, and the Island of Bryan, which launched in 2019.
How They Met?
Bryan and I met in high school, long before reality television existed! We didn’t date at the time, but we stayed in touch over the next ten years as we both finished high school, university, and post-graduate studies. We were both copied on an email from a common acquaintance in 2001, which prompted us to start chatting again, and we planned to meet for coffee after work.

The first date
Our first date was in Toronto in September of 2001. Bryan had organized a night out on the town for us. First, we saw The Lion King in the theater, which was great. Following that, we enjoyed a delicious sushi meal. He obviously went all out, and it was a very thrilling first date.
Actually, the suggestion is a bit of a hilarious story. Bryan and I were in Nova Scotia visiting his relatives. He had intended to propose to me when we were on this magnificent scenic trek along the beach. The environment and vistas are usually magnificent. However, it was so foggy on this particular day that you couldn’t see more than 20 feet ahead of you. We ended up driving home and got a flat tire on the way! Needless to say, it wasn’t the romantic excursion Bryan had anticipated, so he postponed the proposal until later that night.
Bryan and I married on September 3, 2004, at Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. Our honeymoon took place in Las Vegas! Bryan had initially reserved an oceanfront beach property for us. However, due to a hurricane that reached the Florida coast on the day of our wedding, we were forced to cancel. We ended up reserving a last-minute Vegas vacation online, which turned out to be a lot of fun.
We have two sons and two girls in our family. Quintyn is our eldest, followed by Charlotte, Lincoln, and Josephine, our youngest.
Balancing work and life
Work is a regular component of our day-to-day existence, just like it is for any other couple. Bryan and I are both very hard workers, but we constantly make sure that our relationship and our family come first. That, I believe, is the key. Everything else comes second to family. We appreciate what we do and work hard so that we may spend time with our families and see our children grow up.
Bryan and I both have a strong interest in a wide range of water sports. We like water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing at the cottage. In Florida, we frequently take the boat out for some fishing. It’s fantastic because we’ve passed on our passion of being outside and active to the children. We can now enjoy these activities with the whole family. And, we are both certified scuba divers who enjoy traveling to discover the greatest diving places. We traveled to the Maldives and discovered great diving spots.
