How They Met?
Bryan and I met in high school, long before reality television existed! We didn’t date at the time, but we stayed in touch over the next ten years as we both finished high school, university, and post-graduate studies. We were both copied on an email from a common acquaintance in 2001, which prompted us to start chatting again, and we planned to meet for coffee after work.

The first date
Our first date was in Toronto in September of 2001. Bryan had organized a night out on the town for us. First, we saw The Lion King in the theater, which was great. Following that, we enjoyed a delicious sushi meal. He obviously went all out, and it was a very thrilling first date.
The proposal
Actually, the suggestion is a bit of a hilarious story. Bryan and I were in Nova Scotia visiting his relatives. He had intended to propose to me when we were on this magnificent scenic trek along the beach. The environment and vistas are usually magnificent. However, it was so foggy on this particular day that you couldn’t see more than 20 feet ahead of you. We ended up driving home and got a flat tire on the way! Needless to say, it wasn’t the romantic excursion Bryan had anticipated, so he postponed the proposal until later that night.
The wedding
Bryan and I married on September 3, 2004, at Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. Our honeymoon took place in Las Vegas! Bryan had initially reserved an oceanfront beach property for us. However, due to a hurricane that reached the Florida coast on the day of our wedding, we were forced to cancel. We ended up reserving a last-minute Vegas vacation online, which turned out to be a lot of fun.
The kids
We have two sons and two girls in our family. Quintyn is our eldest, followed by Charlotte, Lincoln, and Josephine, our youngest.
Balancing work and life
Work is a regular component of our day-to-day existence, just like it is for any other couple. Bryan and I are both very hard workers, but we constantly make sure that our relationship and our family come first. That, I believe, is the key. Everything else comes second to family. We appreciate what we do and work hard so that we may spend time with our families and see our children grow up.
Shared Hobbies
Bryan and I both have a strong interest in a wide range of water sports. We like water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing at the cottage. In Florida, we frequently take the boat out for some fishing. It’s fantastic because we’ve passed on our passion of being outside and active to the children. We can now enjoy these activities with the whole family. And, we are both certified scuba divers who enjoy traveling to discover the greatest diving places. We traveled to the Maldives and discovered great diving spots.
